Post Registration

ARTICLE V
DEPARTMENT CONVENTION
4. The Annual Convention shall be composed of delegates and alternates from each chartered Post of The American Legion of the Department of Florida. Each Post shall be entitled to two (2) delegates and two (2) alternates, and to one (1) additional delegate and alternate for each additional one hundred (100) members or fraction thereof over and above one hundred (100) members; and provided that the per capita membership fee is paid fifteen (15) days prior to the Department Convention. Alternate delegates shall be recognized in the numerical order certified.

6. Each member of the Department Executive Committee shall be a delegate to any Department Convention during their term of office, under the same conditions as applied to the other delegates. Each Past Department Commander shall be a delegate for life to all Department Conventions, under the same conditions as applied to all other delegates, provided that they shall be in good standing in a Post of The American Legion, Department of Florida, and present on the floor of the convention.

Headquarters will be located in Grand 1-2, look for the Express Line Signs.

In order to pre-register you MUST:

1. Be an active Post at charter strength
2. Owe no fees to Department
3. Have turned in all end of the year paperwork
4. Post Adjutant and Post Commander must be available to sign
