8:00am – 4:00pm Service Officer School
This is a two-day, informative VA&R class that covers all veteran benefits. Certificate and card provided upon completion. Call Brianna Dietz at 407.295.2631 ext. 232 for more information. Attendance required both days. Pre-Registration required. *Limited seating* Download Registration Form
11:00am – 12:30pm Food Handlers Class
Class given by Food Safety Certifications, LLC. Certificate will be given at the end of class. This course is intended to provide certification to those in attendance on food safety training for your Post. The course will cover key areas including Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-contamination & Allergens, Time & Temperature, as well as Cleaning & Sanitation. *Certification good for 3 years*
12:00pm – 1:00pm Judge Advocate Class
This course will cover how to advise the different sections of the Legion and how to interpret the Constitution and By-Laws of the Post, District, or Area.
1:00pm – 2:00pm Dept. Finance Committee Meeting
Open to all Legionnaires. This meeting will provide a review of the Department’s finances during the past year and address financial issues as needed.
1:30pm – 3:00pm Chaplain’s Training
All Chaplains welcome. Meet other Chaplains; review the Chaplains Handbook, take part in an open forum for questions and concerns.
2:30pm – 3:45pm Internal Affairs Commission
This meeting will cover reports from Constitution & By-Laws, Credentials, Disaster Preparedness, POW-MIA, Resolutions, Time & Place, and Special Rules committees. Each Post can send one delegate to this meeting to vote on the matters that will be decided. All voting members must have a ribbon, which can be picked up at registration.
2:45pm – 4:00pm Sgt. At Arms Training
This course will cover in detail the expected duties of a Post Sgt-at Arms.
3:30pm – 5:30pm Legion Riders Chairman Meeting
This will cover Area and District reports, By Laws, Charters, EOY Report, Awards, and 2021-2022 Goals.
4:15pm – 5:30pm Dept. Executive Committee Meeting
This meeting will cover current Post matters, budget approval and general Department announcements. *Only Executive Committee Members can address the Committee*
4:00pm – 5:30pm Post Commander Class
This course will cover details pertaining to the duties of Commander at Post level.
7:00pm – 8:30pm 2021 Kick-Off  and Bittersweet Retirement Event

Attendees can expect a closer look into the Vet Relief Advocate roll, and not just an overview of the program. Be sure to sign up as space is limited.

This course will cover details pertaining to general instruction on how to run a successful Post.
3:00pm – 5:00pm Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) Overview
Taught by Capt. Bryan Brummett of the Bureau of Law Enforcement Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco
4:00pm – 6:00pm ALR General Session
5:00pm – 6:00pm Post Adjutant Class
Adjutants are urged to attend. Learn the duties and role the Adjutant plays at the Post.
6:00pm – 7:00pm Cocktail Hour
7:00pm – 10:00pm Commander’s & Presidents’ Banquet

First official Department Executive Committee meeting after the installation of officers. All newly elected and existing Executive Committee Officers are required to attend. This meeting will cover important dates and upcoming Department of Florida events throughout the year.
