Legacy Ride
The American Legion Legacy Run will take place Aug. 23-27, 2026; those wanting to participate can register here.
The 2026 Legacy Run will leave Lincoln, Neb., on Aug. 23 and travel approximately 1,000 miles through Iowa, Missouri, Illinois and Indiana before finishing Aug. 27 at the General George Patton Museum of Leadership in Fort Knox, Ky., near the site of the 2026 National Convention in Louisville.
The route will include stops at American Legion posts, museums and memorials; participants up to and during the ride again will raise funds for The American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation (VCF). The 2025 Legacy Run raised more than $986,000 for the VCF.
