American Legion Riders: Highlighted Events

Legacy Ride

The American Legion Legacy Run will take place Aug. 21-25, 2022; those wanting to participate can register here.

The 1,200-mile ride will leave from the USS Alabama Memorial Park in Mobile, Ala., on Aug. 21 and travel through Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois before winding up at American Legion Post 434 in Oak Creek, Wis. – a 20-minute drive from Milwaukee, the site of the 2022 American Legion National Convention.

Medal of Honor recipient Gary Wetzel, a Legion Rider from Post 434, will await the ride on its final stop and be a part of its closing ceremonies. Later that evening, Legacy Run participants will be able to take part in a bike night outside of the nearby Harley-Davidson Museum campus upon the conclusion of activities at post 434.

If you have any questions, you can forward them to legacyrun@legion.org.
