Supporting PROJECT: VetRelief Suicide Prevention Initiative
We would like your feedback and comments regarding the In-State Unity Ride and the ALR State Rally. Please take a moment to answer a few questions. Your feedback is important to us!
The Florida American Legion Riders will join forces for the In-State Unity Ride from April 24th – 30th. This motorcycle ride will raise awareness and collect donations for PROJECT: VetRelief’s Suicide Prevention Initiative.
Ride Routes
There will be two routes: Gulf and Atlantic. Each route will include a Meet & Greet on Sunday, April 24th with the ride officially beginning the next day (April 25th). Our State Rally will be held on Saturday, April 30th.
Be a part of something big, REGISTER to join us for all or a part of the ride to raise awareness to end Veteran suicide.
Virtual Rider?
You get to choose your own route, but it must be 22 miles long. Once your ride is complete, share a photo on your fundraising page and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) using #iRideforthe22.
When using #iRideforthe22, make sure you do these things to help us see your photos:
- When posting, (for that post only) to ‘PUBLIC’, otherwise we will not see it.
- Be sure to of the hashtag, and # in front. It is #iRideforthe22… not werideforthe22 or Rideforthe22
BONUS: Share your photo after your ride on the Florida American Legion Riders’ Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/FloridaAmericanLegionRiders). Photos submitted correctly through the Florida Legion Rider’s page will receive points towards the District Round Robin Trophy.
*Please refer to the Rules for the Round Robin to tally your points for the District Trophy. Miles, Post visits, etc. will not tally for Virtual Riders for the Round Robin Trophy.
