How to Submit Your Entry: Official Rules and Disclosures
Who Can Enter
This raffle is part of a fundraising campaign for the charitable works of The American Legion, Department of Florida, located at 1912A Lee Road, Orlando, FL 32810. U.S. residents 18 years or older are eligible to enter. Employees of The American Legion, National Headquarters and The American Legion, Department of Florida and their family members and household residents, are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited.
How to Enter
Simply verify your name and address and add your phone number to the enclosed raffle entry tickets and mail in the enclosed envelope. We hope you will make an optional donation of $5 per ticket you return, $20 for six or $30 for all twelve tickets. Though we hope you will send a gift when you return your raffle tickets, it is NOT necessary to send a donation to enter or win, and sending a donation doesn’t increase your chances of winning. Your raffle return envelope must be mailed by June 3, 2024. COPIES OF TICKETS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
What You Can Win
A random drawing will result in One (1) Grand Prize Winner who will receive a cash prize of $10,000, One (1) Second Prize Winner will receive $2,500, One (1) Third Prize Winner will receive $1,000, One (1) Fourth & One (1) Fifth Prize Winner will receive $500, and One (1) Sixth through Tenth will receive $100. All cash prizes will be paid from the monies collected through the raffle, and within 60 days of winner verification.
We will draw winners on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at approximately 12:00 p.m., at the Caribe Royale Orlando located at 8101 World Center Drive, Orlando, Florida. Potential winners will be notified by phone or mail within 5 business days of the drawing date of November 18, 2023 and each winner is required to provide proper identification verifying his or her name, address, and tax identification number. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. If taxes are not withheld from the winnings prior to distribution, prize winners will be solely responsible for paying any applicable local, state, and federal taxes.
Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility if you are chosen as the winner of the raffle. By returning your raffle tickets, you agree that your name will be included in the list of winners published on our website and social media, if you are selected as a winner of the raffle. Late entries received will be processed as general donations.
The American Legion, Department of Florida is required by Florida State Law to provide tax identification numbers for prize payouts over $600.
Failure to comply with any of the rules on this page may result in disqualification. If you submit an incorrect address or phone number and we are unable to contact you, your prize notification is returned or you don’t respond to the notification within 15 days, five alternative tickets will be drawn as retainers for prizes not claimed as stated above.
Important Information
For a list of winners, please write to The American Legion, Department of Florida, P.O. BOX 547489, Orlando, FL 32854-7489 by December 14, 2023. The American Legion, Department of Florida shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this raffle fundraising campaign or from any acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Nor shall they be responsible for typographical, printing, or other inadvertent errors in these official rules or other materials relating to this raffle fundraising campaign.
Name Removal
To have your name removed from this mailing list and future promotional mailings, please write to The American Legion, Department of Florida, P.O. BOX 547489, Orlando, FL 32854-7489.

You have as good of a chance as anyone to win a very nice cash prize, but only if you return the enclosed raffle tickets. We would be thrilled and grateful if you also send a generous donation to support the good works of The American Legion, Department of Florida. Thank you.
The odds of winning a prize in this drawing will depend upon the number of sweepstakes tickets returned. For that reason, the following odds are only estimates:
