Lawrence “Larry” E. Carpenter

It is with deep regret that we report the passing of Past 1st District Commander, Lawrence “Larry” E. Carpenter, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the age of 70. Larry is survived by his wife, Patricia. There are no details regarding services at this time, but any new information will be communicated to you through email as well as posted on the website.

A memorial service for Past 1st District Commander, Lawrence “Larry” Carpenter, will be held at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 363 Miracle Strip Parkway, SW Fort Walton Beach at 12 noon on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 followed by a celebration of Life at the Niceville American Legion Post 221, 444 John Sims Pkwy E., Niceville, FL 32578. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made in honor of Larry to the American legion post 221 for “PROJECT:VetRelief” 444 John Sims Pkwy E, Niceville, FL 32578.
