Announcement from Governor Desantis

We have an announcement to make that you should be interested in. Since our Florida Legion Posts have a liquor license issued by the State of Florida, they must comply with the following order:

Under the guidance of the Department of Health (DOH), using his authority under the state’s COVID-19 disaster declaration order, Governor Desantis today ordered all all bars and nightclubs closed as of 5:00 pm today for 30 days. He also ordered all restaurants to cut their capacity by 50% and follow social distancing. The state will continue to monitor COVID-19 and at the end of 14 days will reevaluate and decide whether continued mitigation is needed. Governor Desantis has ordered all bars to cease operations for 30 days when the current situation will be reevaluated.
