Frierson-Nichols American Legion Post 8 of Winter Haven, is having a Military Promotion Event on Oct 31st at 1:30 pm for an Auxiliary Member whose daughter is being promoted to a Colonel from a 3 star General. The mother is having health issues and couldn’t fly to Washington DC for the ceremony so they said they could hold it here in Florida at The American Legion in Winter Haven.  We are honored to host this event for our member and her daughter.
