Contest Dates
I. Post Level:
Dates vary depending on each post. All Post contests must occur between December 1, 2026 – January 17, 2027.
II. District Level:
All District contests must occur between January 18 – February 7, 2027. Your post Oratorical Chairman will know when the District contest dates are.
III. Area Level:
All Area contests must occur between February 8 – February 21, 2027. The exact dates and locations will be posted January 2026.
IV. State Level:
The State contest will occur on March 13, 2027 at The American Legion, Department of Florida, 1912 Lee Road; Orlando, FL 32810. Contest will start at 9:00 AM.
V. National Level:
The 2026 National Finals are on May 2027.
