Post 8 in Winter Haven will be holding a “The Four Chaplains Day” remembrance on February 3rd 2026 beginning at 11:30 am. Post 8 has the privilege of having 5 Chaplains in our posts “Family” with the Post Chaplain, Auxiliary Chaplain, SAL Chaplain, Legion Riders Chaplain and Honor Guard Chaplain.

For this remembrance program all five of Post 8’s Chaplains will be in attendance with the Post Chaplain having the honor of hosting  the event while the remaining four Chaplains will be representing and introducing the “Four Chaplains” from that horrific day in our country’s history.

All are welcome to attend and share in learning what men are capable of when, in time of crisis, their faith is all they are left with.
