The American Legion is the Nation’s Largest and Most Active Veterans Organization, run primarily by Veterans, for more than 100 years. We pride ourselves on taking care of our Active-Duty Service Members and our Veterans who have sacrificed to defend the American way of life.
Not only do we support our Veterans, but we also support their families and our local communities through more than twenty-seven programs. These programs fall under the four pillars founding our organization: I. Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, II. National Security, III. Americanism, and IV. Children & Youth.

Legion Family
The American Legion Auxiliary
The American Legion Auxiliary is made up of male and female spouses, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion. The American Legion Auxiliary is a community of volunteers serving veterans, the military, and their families.
The Sons of the American Legion
S.A.L. members include males of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military and were eligible for American Legion membership. The Sons place an emphasis on preserving American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nation’s children, caring for veterans and their families, and teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.
