Stop the Bleed Class
Stop the Bleed is a no-cost, classroom-based training designed to equip participants with practical, proven skills to respond effectively in a bleeding emergency.
Learning Objectives:
- To understand trauma system chain of survival and the importance of the first responder in traffic crashes
- To learn how to access the airway safe helmet removal techniques
- To learn a simple first aid technique to open the airway in an unconscious injured person
- To learn how to stop bleeding and decrease blood loss by packing and tourniquet application
Participation is limited to 125 attendees, and advance registration is required.
