Service Officer School (Day 1)

This is a two-day informative VA&R class that covers all veteran benefits. Certificate of completion and business card provided upon completion. Required to attend both days. Pre-Registration required. Click here for more information and registration.

Post Operations Training

This course will provide general instruction on how to run a successful Post. Topics will include an explanation of the American Legion Organization, officer responsibilities, Post programs & business, social functions, Post audits, public relations, challenges and preparation, and helpful Post resources

Historian/Centennial Class

All welcome. Discuss new trends, planning the Legion’s 100th birthday, share ideas and take part in an open forum for questions and concerns.

Boys State District Chairman Training

Meeting is by invitation only. Planning of the upcoming Boys State Session.

Post Adjutant Training

All adjutants are urged to attend. Learn the duties and role the adjutant plays at the Post.

IRS 990 Rules/ Finance Class

This course will cover all the required tax filing reports and requirements: Sales Tax, Income, Payroll, etc. Post Finance Officers are strongly encouraged to attend this class.
12:30pm – 2:30pm
Food Handler Training

Class given by Food Safety Certifications, LLC. Certificate will be given at the end of class. This course is intended to provide certification to those in attendance on food safety training for your Post. The course will cover key areas including Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-contamination & Allergens, Time & Temperature, as well as Cleaning & Sanitation. *Certification good for 3 years**Seating is limited and on a first come basis*

Department Finance Meeting

Finance Committee required to attend. Open to all Legionnaires. The meeting will provide a review of the Department’s finances year to date and address financial issues as needed.
