WHO CAN ENTER: This raffle is part of a fundraising campaign for the charitable works of The American Legion, Department of Florida, located at 1912A Lee Road, Orlando, FL 32810. Florida residents 18 years or older are eligible to enter. Employees of The American Legion, National Headquarters and The American Legion, Department of Florida and their family members and household residents, are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited.
HOW TO ENTER: Simply ensure your name and address on our raffle mailing list to receive a official Centennial Celebration Raffle package. We hope you will make an optional donation of $5 per ticket you return, $20 for six or $30 for all twelve tickets. For an additional suggested $5 donation, submit the golden ticket for the BONUS drawing. Though we hope you will send a gift when you return your raffle tickets, it is NOT necessary to send a donation to enter or win, and sending a donation doesn’t increase your chances of winning. Your raffle return envelope must be mailed by June 19, 2019. COPIES OF TICKETS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
WHAT YOU CAN WIN: A random drawing on or about June 29, 2019 will result in One (1) Grand Prize Winner who will receive a cash prize of $10,000, One (1) Second Prize Winner will receive $2,500, One (1) Third Prize Winner will receive $1,000, One (1) Fourth & One (1) Fifth Prize Winner will receive $500, One (1) Sixth through Tenth will receive $100, and one BONUS DRAWING winner will receive an American Legion 100th Anniversary Commemorative Three-Coin Set. All cash prizes will be paid from the monies collected through the raffle, and within 60 days of winner verification. And, if this raffle fundraising campaign is successful, all the important charitable work of The American Legion, Department of Florida will be winners as well.
Centennial BONUS Raffle – Return your enclosed golden ticket with an additional suggested donation of $5 for a chance to win the LIMTED EDITION Centennial American Legion Coin Set with US Mint certificate of authenticity: includes $5 Gold Coin, Silver Dollar and Clad Half Dollar. Golden tickets are independent from Centennial Celebration Raffle and will be kept separate. Winner will be drawn on Saturday, June 29, 2019 during the Annual Convention and streamed live on Facebook.
We will draw raffle winners during the American Legion, Department of Florida’s Department Convention on Saturday June 29, 2019 at the Orlando World Center Marriott during General Session. Potential winners will be notified by phone or mail within 30 days of the drawing date of June 29, 2019 and each winner is required to provide proper identification verifying his or her name, address, and tax identification number. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. If taxes are not withheld from the winnings prior to distribution, prize winners will be solely responsible for paying any applicable local, state, and federal taxes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, which must be returned within 15 days of prize notification.
The odds of winning a prize in this drawing will depend upon the number of raffle tickets returned. For that reason, the following odds are only estimates:

Failure to comply with any of the rules on this page may result in is qualification. If you submit an incorrect address or phone number and we are unable to contact you, your prize notification is returned or you don’t respond to the notification within 15 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

The American Legion, Department of Florida shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this raffle fundraising campaign or from any acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Nor shall they be responsible for typographical, printing, or other inadvertent errors in these official rules or other materials relating to this raffle fundraising campaign.
