December 2021

Happy Holidays from your Legislative Chairman, to all of you celebrating the holiday that means the most to you!  Let’s celebrate all that makes our beautiful country what it is today!

The committee weeks that have taken place so far haven’t produced much for our concerns, yet there have been several bills filed that have a veteran flavor. We will continue to monitor them as they move through either chamber as well as the different committees.

If you wish to sign-up for updates, please do so on our website at and choose Legislative.  The goal is to send out weekly updates during the session, which begins on January 11, 2022.

The March on Tallahassee will be on January 19, 2022. We will gather at Post 13 in Tallahassee in the morning for a “Know before you go” briefing. Then we will make our way to the capitol for a day of meet and greets that will be arranged. If you desire to attend this year’s March on Tallahassee, please contact me directly for a headcount.

As always, please be safe out there and remember, everyone is busy, just as you are, so be patient, considerate, and focus on the outcome!

Stuart Scott
Legislative Chair
