Submissions from National\, Posts\, Legionnaires\, Legion Family and any other individuals\, may submit an article for consideration\, however these articles must be relevant and considered valuable to our readers\, and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to refuse any article that we do not deem appropriate or relevant to our readers. \nArticle Submission Requirements\n\nContent must be engaging\, informative\, and/or relevant to The American Legion and the Department of Florida.\nArticles may be submitted using our online submission form\, contained within an email\, or attached to an email in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) or Rich Text Format (.rtf). Emails should be sent to legionlink@floridalegion.org. Please do not submit articles as .pdf files\, as they will not be published.  Flyers in .pdf format are acceptable\, as they do not require editing and formatting.\nIf a piece has already been published elsewhere\, please resubmit it as a synopsis or a summary of the original document.\nBe sure to credit any other authors and/or publishers\, including references. DESCRIPTION:Join Us for a Night of Celebration at the Western Area Ball!  \n  \nThe American Legion Western Area Commander invites you to an unforgettable evening celebrating the Heritage of the American Legion and honoring our Local Area Heroes. This special night will highlight the mission of the American Legion and shine a light on the incredible work being done for our veterans and community. \n  \nThis year\, our Western Area Commander has chosen the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer as the official cause for the event. All contributions will be donated in the name of Phinley’s Phund\, in memory of a beloved local child we tragically lost to childhood cancer.
