Resolve to Be Ready in 2008

The Sons of The American Legion, Detachment of Florida has partnered with the US Department of Homeland Security and is a coalition member to promote Preparedness. Throughout the Year we will be posting information to help you get better prepared for the various types of disaster that can affect us.

We need your help to get the word out so we have posted the Resolve Preparedness Tool Kit to give you ideas on how to host preparedness activities locally. Please take a look to see what your Squadrons, Posts and Units can do to promote a Culture of Preparedness.

    • The personalized plan is brought to you by the Florida Division of Emergency Management and businesses must reside in Florida. Businesses will enter information that will be used to create a plan that once completed can be printed from their website. This is a good place for American Legion Posts to start creating a plan.
