August 19-21, 2005 - Delegates for the Sons of The American Legion attended the 34th National Convention in Honolulu, Hawaii

National Commander Michael Deacon (IA) and Past National Commander Kevin Winkleman (TX) dedicate a plaque on to honor all veterans at the Punchbowl National Cemetery

The Plaque reads:

"As descendants of veterans, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure freedoms of democracy for future generations to enjoy.  May we continue on for God and Country"

The National Convention was well attended and there were many meetings.  However, the Florida Delegation made it a point to have a little fun.
