34th Annual National Convention |
| August 19-21, 2005 - Delegates for the Sons of The American Legion attended the 34th National Convention in Honolulu, Hawaii |

| National Commander Michael Deacon (IA) and Past National
Commander Kevin Winkleman (TX) dedicate a plaque on to honor all veterans
at the Punchbowl National Cemetery
The Plaque reads: "As descendants of veterans, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure freedoms of democracy for future generations to enjoy. May we continue on for God and Country" |

| The National Convention was well attended and there were
many meetings. However, the Florida Delegation made it a point to
have a little fun.
