Edward Joseph Harris, 64, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006.
He was born Jan. 26, 1942, in Boston, Mass.
Mr. Harris served in the U.S. Marine Corps and moved to the Punta Gorda area 27 years ago from Cochituate, Mass. Mr. Harris was a member of the American Legion Post 103 in Punta Gorda. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Bonnie J.; daughters, Deborah Homer and Amelia Harris, both of Massachusetts; son, Patrick Harris of California; sister, Barbara (Fred) Guerriero of Massachusetts; and five grandchildren.
