Dan Mims was a very devoted member of Jacksonville Squadron 283. Dan was serving his first term as 5th District Commander and had been elected to serve his second term.
Dan was a well respected person in his community. More than 100 people including members of The American Legion Family attended his memorial service in Jacksonville. Dan will be missed by us all.
Services were held on Saturday, June 21st at The Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Burial, was the same day at Arlington Park Cemetery.
Dan is survived by his wife Theresa, children Dan Jr., Missy, Kevin and Katie.
