Many of our veterans are returning home from war only to face a different kind of war at home – a devastated economy, high unemployment, healthcare issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), homelessness, etc. Our veterans need our help now more than ever. They’ve sacrificed so much for us. Let’s work together to fight for them.
The first step to take to get involved is to register on www.projecthomefront.com. If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the registration and join us in our mission.
After you’ve registered on the site, you’ll have access to variety of valuable resources for veterans and upcoming veteran support events. You’ll also have the ability to interact with other supporters and veterans in need through the unique social interface. Some of the features of the site include:
Project:Homefront also has a very active Facebook page and Twitter feed. Make sure you “Like” us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to stay informed on the most current information. You can access these pages through the links on the right side of the screen or by clicking on the links above.
Project:Homefront will be hosting several veteran support events throughout the year. Check the Events Page to view the details and sign-up for these great events. There will also be several other veteran support events placed on the Events Page by site administrators and other participants. Check back frequently to see if there is an event in your area.
If you know a veteran that could benefit from the resources and events through Project:Homefront or another patriot that’s passionate about supporting our veterans, please share this information with them. The more veterans and supporters were able to reach, the more good we can do. Tell your friends, neighbors and family. Let’s get everyone involved. They fought for us. Let’s fight for them.
