Douglass M. Burleson Sr.

It is with deep regret that we report the passing of Past 1^st District Commander, Douglass “Doug” M. Burleson, Sr., of Pensacola, FL on February 15, 2017 at the age of 70. Doug is survived by his three sons, Douglass Jr., Derek and Michael.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway 90E, Pensacola, FL 32503. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 9:30am at the chapel. Internment will immediately follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd., Pensacola, FL 32508.

Doug was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of Frank Marston Post 33, with 27 continuous years of membership. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers in this time of grief.
