Why do the Convention and Conference hotels charge additional fees?
There is a code that has been placed in the master account that lets the hotel agents know that our group WILL NOT pay a parking fee or any resort fees, however central reservation agents are instructed to advise every guest about the fee. Please pass the word on to our members that when they book their rooms and they get a confirmation email, they might see on the reservation summary additional fees, but once they arrive the system will overwrite those charges. Rest assured that anyone from “The American Legion” group should not be charged the additional fee.
